Music Live, the U.K.’s leading music-making event, will return to the Birmingham NEC in England from Nov. 7 – 9. For the first time in the U.K., Gibson will have its own dedicated stand, giving visitors an opportunity to see many of Gibson and Epiphone’s latest models.
These new models will include the Robot Guitar, 2008 Les Paul Standard, Les Paul Traditional, Slash Signature Goldtops, the Joe Bonamassa Inspired By Les Paul and the Epiphone Prophecy line, to name a few.
Over three days, the Gibson stand will host scheduled artist performances from the likes of Joe Bonamassa, The Electric City and The Mexicolas. It will also feature regular Gibson Robot Guitar demonstrations ― an opportunity to see this Digital Music award-winning guitar in action. The famous Gibson tour bus will also be on site at Music Live, offering visitors a taste of life on the road. The bus will be opened up to the public at various scheduled times over the weekend. Music Live is the biggest musical instrument exhibition in the U.K., with guitars, drums, synths and recording equipment on display from the world’s biggest brands including Gibson, Epiphone, Marshall, Yamaha, Roland and many more. With hundreds of instruments available for visitors to get their hands on ― and retail partners on-site to facilitate great show-only deals ― Music Live will become the U.K.’s biggest music shop for three days.
An eclectic Live Stage line-up will cover blues, classic rock, acoustic and modern Brit Rock. Artists confirmed for the show include Stone Gods, The Mexicolas and The Electric City as well as Thin Lizzy/Whitesnake rhythm section Tommy Aldridge and Marco Mendoza.

Education Day on Friday, Nov. 7, will see 8,000 students from around the U.K. visit the show, taking advantage of careers and music production seminars hosted by big-name industry producers, engineers and managers. Blues guitar legend and Gibson Signature artist Joe Bonamassa will play the Live Stage on Saturday, Nov. 8 as part of his U.K. tour, and he’ll deliver an exclusive ‘Blues In The Schools’ seminar on Education Day. Blues In The Schools will see Bonamassa trace the history of the blues from its roots in the 1800s to the varied genre it is today. This will be the first time the masterclass has been conducted in the U.K.
